Item No. 99-76
Date February 8. 1999
Item/Subject Authorizing Execution of Municipal Quitclaim Deed
-- Real Estate Located at 10 Pushaw Road
Responsible Department: Legal
Commentary:
The Treasurer's office has received payment in the amount of $3,952
from the owner of real estate located at 10 Pusher Road for 1996
and 1998 tax liens, the first half of the 1999 taxes, together with
the quitclaim fee. Because the 1996 and 1997 liens have matured, a
municipal quitclaim deed is required. This Order would authorize
the release of the City's interest in the property by virtue of the
matured tax liens. The Treasurer's Office has prepared and
recorded a discharge document for the 1998 tax lien.
There are no code issues with the property. The Finance Committee
recommended approval at its December 21, 1998 meeting.
