There is currently a matured 1996 tax lien on property at 257
Harlow Street owned by 257 Harlow Street, a Partnership. The
taxpayer is prepared to pay all real estate taxes due for 1996
through and including 1999, $39,531.34. The taxpayer is requesting
a municipal quitclaim deed from the City. There are no outstanding
sewer charges. There are no code issues with the property.
The Finance Committee recommended approval at its October 5, 1998
meeting.

ORDERED,
THAT
Ronald I. Heller, Finance Director, is hereby
authorized, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal
Quitclaim Deed. releasing any interest the City may have in the real
estate located at 257 Harlow Street in said Bangor by virtue of an
undischarged real estate tax lien recorded in Book 6141, Page 79,
Penobscot Registry of Deeds. Said deed shall be directed to 257
Harlow Street, A Partnership, in a form to be approved by the City
Solicitor.
