Item/Subject: School Dental Program

Ibis is the renewal of the grant for the School Dental Program
offered to students in grades x - 5 in seven elementary schools
in the City of Bangor. This grant rune from 7/1/98 to 6/30/99.
The amount of the grant is $2,897. These funds are used to
educate all students and to maintain a high level of dental
health awareness, to maintain 80% participation rate in the
fluoride program in eligible schools and to be sure that all
low income or medicaid eligible children are aware of the
services provided by the Bangor Children's Dental Clinic and
encourage than to take advantage of the service.

grant from the State of Maine, Department of Human Services, Bureau of
