RE: Marie A. Conquest Property - Map R 11 Lots 19 and 27- Corner
of Hudson and Broadway
Dear Norm:
As discussed, my grandmother's estate includes two small lots on
Broadway that are of no value to the estate, because of the size
and because the estate only owns a one-half interest. The
sensible disposition is to release the land to the City.
I enclose a proposed release deed for the Estate of Marie A.
Conquest to the City of Bangor, releasing the one-half interest
the Estate holds in the property to the City. The other half
originally owned by Alice Pendexter already belongs to the City
for unpaid taxes.
Also enclosed is the source deed from Nancey Nye to Edward J.
Conquest and Alice J. Pendexter dated June 25, 1917 recorded in
Boo 894 Page 245, Penobscot County Registry of Deeds.
Very truly yours,
Edward C. Russell
