Item/Subject: Ratifying Execution and Delivery of Municipal
Quitclaim Deed -- Real Estate Located at 111 Fourth Street

The City acquired title to property located at 111 Fourth Street in
the name of Raymond L. ROY. Sr. by virtue of a matured 1999 tax
lien. Payment in the amount of $6,000 was received by United Bank
for 1997-1999 real estate taxes and outstanding a chargee.
There are no known code problems with the property
In order to accommodate a closing during the week of October 18th,
a quitclaim deed was prepared.
This Resolve would ratify the actions of both the Treasury and
Legal offices in completing this matter.

THAT the actions of the Deputy Finance Director and
City Solicitor in executing and delivering a municipal quitclaim
deed releasing tax title to property located at 111 Fourth Street
to Raymond L. Roy, Sr., is hereby ratified and confirmed.
A copy of the deed in its executed form is attached to
this Resolve.

The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation located in
Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, as Greater, for consideration
paid, releases to RAYMOND L. ROY, SR., Of Augusta, Kennebec County,
Maine, as Grantee, the property located in Bangor, Penobscot
County, Maine, more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Real estate located at 111 Fourth Street in said
Bangor, and further described in a deed recorded
n Volume 3901, Page 224, Penobscot Registry of -
Deeds. This property is further designated as
.Assessor's Map 34, Lot 107, real estate account
number 08434.
Any and all other rights, easements, privileges
and appurtenances belonging to the granted -
estatearehereby conveyed.
The purpose of this deed is to release to the Grantee any
interest the Grantor may have in .the above-described property by
virtue of an undischarged real estate tax lien assessed for tax
year 1997 against Raymond L. Roy, Br, and recorded in Book 6400,
Page 238,Penobscot Registry of reads.
All public easements or other public interests in the
described premises for roads, sewers, or other purposes are
expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be
Baled with its corporate seal, and signed in its corporate name by
DEBORAH CYR, Deputy Finance Director, thereuntodulyauthorized,
this 20 day of October, 1999.
