§ 165-94. Waterfront Development District (WDD). -

C. Permitted uses. The following uses are permitted in this district
(1) Any basmess office or professional office.
(2) Hotel, roar. continence or convention tarda.

D. Conditional uses. Subject to Planning Board approval uMer the provisions of § 165-9, the
following uses may be petmittai in this district:
(1) Marine -related cenvnercial uses, to include boat sales and service, docking and service,
boat rental, tour boat and fishing services and other aquatic activities raquning access to
the river, proves. that:
(a) Such uses are located within 250 feet of=an high water on the Penobscot River.
(b) Such uses will create no noxious odors or excessive noose (above 65 decibels dBA)
detectable at the property line

Section 11: The Land Development Code, Chapter 165, § 165-94, is amended as follows:
§ 165-94. Waterfront Development District (WDD).

SUBJECT: Amending Land Development Code
Chapter 165-94 Waterfront Development District and
related Schedule A
Council Ordinance 06-226
Please be advised that the Planning Board at its regularly scheduled
meeting on June 20, 2006 held a Public Hearing on the above land
Development Cade Amendment.
The Planning Staff gave a brief update on the amendment that stems for
issues that remained from the last revision in December of 2005 surrounding
intermodal facilities, and accommodation of the Maim Products Center.
The Board found the proposed amendments addressed their previous
concerns and voted unanimously to recommend W the City Council that it adopt
the proposed amendment to the Waterfront Development District and related
Schedule A.
