Commentary:
This Order will accept approximately 846.10 feet of Cleveland Street (map attached) as a public
street and will add it to the Official City Map.
The City is owner of property known as the Maine Business Enterprise Park and additional
property abutting the Maine Business Enterprise Park. Means of access to Maine Business
Enterprise Park and the abutting property includes Cleveland Street.
This has been reviewed and approved by the Infrastructure Committee on August 25, 2015.

Official City Map
WHEREAS, the City is owner of property known as the Maine Business Enterprise Park and
property abutting the Maine Business Enterprise Park; and
WHEREAS, access to the Maine Business Enterprise Park and abutting property is via Venture
Way; and
WHEREAS, Cleveland Street that has not been accepted as a public street; and
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the City of Bangor to accept Cleveland Street as a public
street.
By the City Countsl of the City of Bangor.
ORDERED,
That pursuant to 23 M.R.S.A. §3022 and 23 M.R.S.A. §3025 Cleveland Street is hereby
accepted as a public way and street by the City of Bangor and is hereby added to the Official
City Map.

PENOBSCOT COUNTY, MAINE
A certain 80' wide strip and a 60' wide strip of land, both with the improvements thereon situate in the City
of Bangor, County of Penobscot, State of Maine, being bordered on the south by land known as the
"Water Tower Lot"; on the west by the east terminus of Venture Way, so called and remaining lands now
or formerly of the City of Bangor; on the North by lands now or formerly of the University of Maine; and on
the east by the "Pine Tree Inn Lot" and remaining lands now or formerly of the City of Bangor; more
particularly described:
beginning at an iron rod set in 2015 in the east line of the "Water Tower Lot" said lot
being land described in a lease from the City of Bangor to the Bangor Water District
dated September 8, 2005, recorded in the Penobscot County Registry of Deeds Book
10271, Page 108, which iron rod set is located with reference to the Maine
Coordinate System of 1983, East Zone, with a Northing of 414,636.33 U.S. Survey
Feet and an Easting of 905,272.17 U.S. Survey Feet, said iron rod set being located
North 120-26-20" East a distance of 21.63 feet from an iron rod at the most southerly
corner of the Water Tower Lot; thence along the Water Tower Lot North 120-26-20"
East a distance of 43.11 feet to iron rod; thence along the Water Tower Lot North 23°-
34'-20" West a distance of 42.17 feet to an iron rod; thence along the Water Tower
Lot North 680-28'-50" West a distance of 9.05 feet to an iron rod set in 2015 at the
easterly terminus of Venture Way, so called; thence along Venture Way North 33°-
43'-50" East a distance of 61.46 feet to a point in the easterly terminus of Venture
Way; thence along the northerly sideline of Venture Way North 68°45-50" West a
distance of 20.48 feet to an iron rod set in 2015, which iron rod is located with
reference to the Maine Coordinate System of 1983, East Zone, with a Northing of
414,778.94 U.S. Survey Feet and an Easting of 905,271.20 U.S. Survey Feet; thence
through lands described in a deed to the City of Bangor dated March 7, 2002,
recorded in the Penobscot County Registry of Deeds Book 8107, Page 215 North
33'-43'-50" East a distance of 726.62 feet to an iron rod set in 2015 in the south line
of land described in a deed to the University of Maine dated June 4, 2002, recorded in
the Penobscot County Registry of Deeds Book 8224, Page 118; thence through the
lands of the City of Bangor described in said Book 8107, Page 215 South 57°-37'-00"
East a distance of 20.00 feet to a point in the west line of land described in a deed to
the City of Bangor dated June 4, 2002 recorded in the Penobscot County Registry of
Deeds Book 8224, Page 116; thence South 570-37'-00" East a distance of 40.00 feet
to the most northerly point of the "Pine Tree Inn Lot" to be conveyed from the City of
Bangor in 2015, said point being North 570-37'-00" West a distance of 20.01 feet from
on iron rod set in 2015; thence along the Pine Tree Inn Lot South 33°-43'-50" West a
distance of 368.53 feet to an iron rod set in 2015; thence South 560-16-10" East a
distance of 20.00 feet to an iron rod set in 2015 in the east line of land described in a
deed to the City of Bangor dated June 4, 2002, recorded in the Penobscot County
Registry of Deeds Book 8224, Page 116, which iron rod is located with reference to
the Maine Coordinate System of 1983, East Zone, with a Northing of 415,033.51 U.S.
Survey Feet and an Easting of 905,537.35 U.S. Survey Feet; thence along the east
line of land of said City of Bangor of Book 8224, Page 116 South 330-43'-50" West a
distance of 477.57 feet to the point of beginning, enclosing an area of 1.267 acres.

EXHIBIT A
Iron rods set are three-quarter inch reinforcing rods with a plastic cap marked "Plisga & Day PLS 2327".
Bearings referenced herein are oriented to Grid North referencing the Maine Coordinate System of 1983,
East Zone, as determined by a survey conducted by Plisga & Day, Land Surveyors in 2015 (reference
project number: 15104). Coordinate values identifying the monuments are provided as an aid in location
of the property and are not intended to control bearings, distances or the positions marked by monuments
defining the property boundaries.
Grantor's source of title reference is made to a deed from the United States of America to the City of
Bangor dated March 7, 2002, recorded in the Penobscot County Registry of Deeds Book 8107, Page 215
and a deed from the University of Maine System to the City of Bangor dated June 4, 2002 recorded in the
Penobscot County Registry of Deeds Book 8224, Page 116.
