The Code provides that a majority of the City Council's Government Operations Committee, Infrastructure Committee, Airport Committee, and Business and Economic Development Committee may approve a lease up to a term of three years. As a result it is possible that two of nine councilors can approve a lease of three years. This Ordinance amendment will delete that provision and all leases will require approval of the full council.
