HomeMy WebLinkAbout2024-10-28 City Council Minutes REGULAR MEETING BANGOR CITY COUNCIL—OCTOBER 28, 2024 Meeting called to order at 7:30 PM Chaired by Council Chair Pelletier Roll Call: Councilors Deane,Hawes(via Zoom), Fish, Fournier,Leonard, Schaefer, Tremble, Yacoubagha and Pelletier Meeting adjourned at 9:I S PM Currently,the public has the choice to participate in meetings in person at Cily Hall now located at 262 Harlow Street or remotely through Zoom.Meetings are available to view through Youtube website, and the Government Channel 1303, after the fact.Public comment, whether in person or through Zoom, requires a person to state their name and town of residence, and any inappropriate or offensive remarks may be removed or interrupted, and the Council Chair will have discretion over the time allowed for comment. On Zoom, the public may be recognized to speak by the hand wave function or on a phone by pressing "9. PUBLIC COMMENT Stan Macmillan complimented prior Ciry Engineer John Theriault on the job he did for the City. Scott Pardy expressed his concerns with the waste disposal plan. Elizabeth Coffey requested speed bumps be installed on Valley Avenue. Jen Goddard asked that the City consider eli�ninating fluoride in the City's water.
