AGENDA
1. IT Pipes Contract
The City was currently utilizing IT Pipes for inspections of the sanitary sewer system and was purchasing the software under an annual
yearly fee basis. The current rate is $11,000 per year. For the upcoming renewal the City has three proposed contract options. 1)
Continue year to year with purchasing software, with a yearly price increase of consumer pricing index or 5% whichever is greater. 2)
Sign a three year contract, locking in the current rate. 3) Sign a five year contract, with a discount of 5% for the full five years.
Motion made and seconded, unanimously approved
2. MDOT 024641.12 Hancock Street Agreement, Mill & Overlay Project
The street would be milled and overlayed on Hancock Street from State to Oak Street. Work to include resetting granite curb and
adding ADA and drainage. The project is a Maine DOT 50/50 project $600,000 approximate City contribution.
Motion made and seconded, unanimously approved
3. Discussion: Saratoga Sidewalk Removal of Unused Portion
A Bangor resident recently contacted the City to remove a portion of sidewalk on Saratoga Avenue. The City would pursue conducting a
polling of the neighbors for feedback on removal of sidewalk or whether the City should leave it and repave. Polling the whole of the
neighborhood residents would be preferred.

4. Easement: Stillwater/Parkade Easement
The City was planning to pave, widen, and sidewalk, traffic signal improvements on Stillwater Avenue between Drew Lane and Hogan
Road. The project also includes addition of a second inbound through lane on Stillwater Avenue at the intersection of Ramp 186 and
Parkade entrance. A utility pole would be relocated along Stillwater Avenue on west side of the street. Easements with two property
owners would be required.

5. Extension of AECOM General Service Agreement
Consultant with the CSO program, long term control plan for the sanitary sewer system, and helped negotiate the consent decree.
Three year agreement with a three year extension ending in 2020. Extend to another two years to 2022 for completion of Davis Brook
Tank Project. Additional work to include consent decree work updating and SSES work due both costing approximately $58,000, which
would be covered under the extended contract.
