Agreement: MDOT WIN #023521.00 State Street Resurfacing, Modification 1 John Theriault outline the modification. On December 23,2019 under Council Order #20-050 the City of Bangor Council authorized the City Manager to execute a Local Project Agreement with Maine Department of Transportation for State Street Resurfacing. The scope of the project consists of a mill and fill on a portion of State Street, beginning at Hancock Street and continuing northeast for 0.96 of a mile. The initial total project limit was not to exceed $981,948.00 with the Federal Share $785,558.00 or 80%, and State Share $98,194.80 or 10% and the City Share $98,194.80 or 10%. Under Modification #1, the project cost will increase by $62,000.00 for a total project limit of $1,043,948.00. Updated Federal Share will now be 80% or $835,158.40 and the State Share will be 10% or $104,394.80 and the City Share will be $104,394.80 or 10%. Vote: Motion made and seconded, unanimous. 2. Agreement: MDOT WIN #024131.00 Hogan Road Resurfacing, Modification 1 John Theriault outline the modification. On June 13, 2022 under Council Order #22-212 the City of Bangor Council authorized the ratification of the City Manager's execution a of Local Project Agreement with Maine Department of Transportation for Hogan Road Resurfacing. The scope of the project consists of a mill and fill starting at the intersection of Route 2, extending north about 0.44 of a mile. The initial total project limit was not to exceed $477,000, with the Federal Share $381,600.00 or 80%, and State Share $95,400.00 or 20%. Under Modification #1, the project cost will increase by $59,717.00 for a total project limit of $536,717.00. Updated Federal Share will now be 80% or $429,373.60 and the State Share will be 20% or $107,343.40. No City match is required, but the City shall be responsible for costs exceeding the Project Cost of $536,717.00. Vote: Motion made and seconded, unanimous. Meeting Adjourned.
