� _ FIREARMS DISCHARGE COMMITTEE REPORT

The annual meeting of the City of Bangor Fireanns Discharge Committee was
held in the City Manager's Office on 5116101 at 7:40 P.1V1.
Memhers attending were: Kay Grant-Redman and Mark Lane. Lt. V4�elch af the
Palice Department was in attendance.
The fallowing iterns were discussed:
1. Lt. Welch had z'eviewed all signs on S/1/01 which mark the different zanes
within the City. There were 2 signs that had been faund missing and were
ordered. Kay Grant-Redman reported that she had checked the szgns on
5/l.6/41 and they had been replaced.
2. Lt. Welch reported that there were 3 complaints of firearms being discharged
in the rural area of the City referred ta as Zone 2. One complaint was
investigated and nothing was found. Two camplaints were investigated and
found ta be landowners target practicing.
3. There are no recommendations to change any boundaries.
4. Lt.Welch, on suggestion from the Cammittee members, wi11 issue a public
serviee annauncement arourid the beginning of hunting seasan abont the areas
of the City where yau are restricted ar prahibited from hunting.
� S. Lt. VVelch, on suggestion from the Committee members,will make sure that
Cade En£orcement has updated maps af the Discharge Zones to give to people
who build homes in the rural areas of the City.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:11 P.M.
