� School Committee Members present: Chairman Warren Caruso,Marc Eastman, Sarah Smiley, Christine
Szal,and Jay Ye.Members Phyllis Guerette and Susan Hawes were unable to attend.
� A. t.&2. The meeting was called to arder by Chairman Caruso at 7:00 p.m. and the Fledge af
Allegiance followed.
� 3. The Bangor School Department and the Bangor Sahool Committee recognized two Bangor
High Schoal students far winning gold medals at the 2014 Ski11sUSA competition.
SkillsUSA is a national nonprofit organization serving teaahers,higti schools and college
� studenEs wha are preparing for careers in trade,technical and skilled service occupations,
including health occupations.
D. I. a. Superintendent Webb reviewed in detail the praposed FY15 budget and recommended
� receipt of the First Reading of the FY I S Budge�
Committee members asked questians and thanked Superintendent Webb and staff far their
� work on reduaing the increase.
VOTED 4 far(Can�so, Smiley, Szal,and Ye)and 1 ogposed(Eastrnan)to receive the First
� Reading as prapased.
b. Superintendent Webb recommended appraval of an exception of Folicy BCC in vrder ta
� employ the most qualified candidate,
Cammittee members asked questions about the candidate's qualifications, protocol, and
counse!review.
� VOTED 5-0 to approve the exception ta Foiicy HCC.
� 2. a. Superi�tendent Webb updated the Cammittee on the inter-lacal agreement with SPRPCE
and the regional school units. The final draft was provided and Superintende�t Webb
explained that the vote an the ratification of the agreement would be soheduled far the
� Apri19�`meeting.
b. Superintendent Webb reparted the following resignation:

c. Sugerintendent Webb reported the following reassignmen�
� Karen Perry from DeaflHearing Impaired Teacher at James F. Doughty Schaol to Special

Minutes of the March 13,2014 Regular School Committee Meeting.
� VOTED 4 for (Caruso, Eastman, Smiley, Szal) and 1 abstentian (Ye) to apprave the
Minutes ofthe March Zi,2014 Budget Workshop Meeting.

�. b. Ch�irrnan Canzsv shar�d that the Friends of Camerc�n Stad�um s�re in the final push to
complete Phase I of the renavations at Carneron Stadium. The committee is wnrking to
raise the �nal $125,OU0 ta carnglete the locker rovm building for th� opening of the fall �
