� School Committee Members present: Chairman Warren Caruso, Vice Chair Jay Ye, Marc Eastman,

� A. 1.&2. The meeting was called tu order by Chairman Cazuso at ?:41 p.m. and the Pledga af
Allegiance foltowed.
� B. Sup�rintendent Webb requested to amend the Agenda by adding E.l.c.l.a.Administratar
Namination, b. Teacher Nominatic�n, 2.1. First Reading of Policy GCA 31 Directar of
Bangor Regianal Pragram, and J. Executive Session for the purpose of discussion
� regarding coltective bargaining with the Administrators' Bargaining Unit and T�achers°
Bargaining Unit 1 MRSA subsection 4U5(6){D),
� VOTED 6-4 to amend the Agenda as requested.
D.2.a. Director of Business Services Alan Kochis grovided a Budget Review of the Business
� Office and the Office of Instruction divisions.
b. Superintendent Webb reported the following reassignments:
� Debarah Friedman frarn Grade 3 Teacher at Abraham Lincoln Schaol to Titl�I Teacher at
Bangor Schools,All Saints and Bangor Christian.
� Traci Low from PreK Teacher at Abraham Lincoin Schoal to FreK Teacher at Dawneast
School.
� Kathryn Griffi'ith from PreK Tsacher at Uowneast Schoal to PreK at Abraharn Lincoln
Schaol.
� E. 1. a. 1. VOTED 4 for {Carusa, Ye, Eastman, Szal) 0 opp�sed and 2 ab�tentians {Guerei#e and
Smiley)to approve the Minute�of th�Jaly 30,2014 Regular School Committee Meeting.
b. I. Superintendent Webb recommended approval of the July 2014 Financial Statement.
� VOTED 5-0 to approve tha J�ly 2flI4 Financial Statement.
� 2. Superintendent �1Vebb recammended approval of the August 2014 Bid & Quotation
Repart.
� VQTED b-0 to approve the August 2014 Bid&Quotatian Regort.
c. 1. a. Superintendent Webb recammanded the following Adtninistrator nommahan for the 2U14
2Q15 schoal year:
� Dana L. Andrews, Regional Program Director at the Bangor Regional Therapeutic Day
Program,with a one year Probationary Contract for 2Q14-2415
� b. Superintendent Webb recomrnended the following Teacher nomination for the 20142015
school year.

2. a. 1. Superintendent Webb recammended receipt of the First Reading of Policy GCA-31, `
Director of Bangar Regional Therapeutic Day Treatment Program.

F. 1. Committee Member Guerette commented on her excitement to see the addition of a �
National Honors Art Society at Bangor High Schuc�l. She also recognized the�ustadians
and maintenance staff for their preparatians and hard work over the summer ta have
i everything ready far the apening of school. Mem6er Guerette further highlighted the
facilities tours and the progess made on summer projects. She shared the continued need �
far investing in Bangor's alder facilities.
Vice Chair Ye attended the end of summer STEM full day event at the University of �
Maine. He reparted that tlie quality of the nine Bangor High School students' research
was of high quality and covered�breadth of topics.
H. Chairman Caruso reviewed the impartant dates. �
J. By roll call vote 6-U, the Committee enter�d Execative Session for the purpase of
discussion regarding coIlective bargai.ning with the Administrators' Bargaining Unit and �
Teachers'Unit according to I MRSA subsection 445(6}{D)at 7;59 p.m.
