REGULAR MEETING

Schoal Committee Members present. Chairman Warren Caruso, Sue Hawes, Sarah Smiley, Sue Sorg,
and Marlene Susi. Members Jay Ye and Marc Eastman were unable to attend. �
A. 1.&2. The meeting was called to order by Chairmen Caruso at 7:03 p.m. and the Piedge of
Allegiance fotlowed.
D. 1. a. Principal Paul Butler and teaahers Peter Sund and Lance Fenimore provided an overvisw �
of the Bangor High Schaol Business Academy. Superintendent Webb recommended
concept appraval. �
Committea Members asked questions and voioed support of tha quality appartunities for
students.Member Sorg askecE for research in support o�'the program. �

cancept apprava!of the Business Academy.
b. Superintendent Webb recommended appraval af the following caurses: Linear Algebra �
and Advanced Placernent World History.

2. a. Superintendsnt VVebb provided an ugdate on the butfget filters.Members of the Committee �
exgressed comfork with the wording of the filters.
b. Superintendent Webb rsported the following retirements at the end Qf the school year:
Norma�Iolmquist Special Education Downeast School �
Victoria Levesque Gifted and Talented Fairmount School
E, 1. a. 1:2. The draft Minutes of the January 14, 2�15 Schaol Core Competencies Workshop and the �
January 14,Zfl15 Regular School Committee Meeting were tabled until the next meeting.
b. l. Superintendent We6b recommended appravaE of the Decerober 2014�inancial Statement. �
VUTED S-0 to approve the December 2014 Finaricial Statement as presented.
c. Superintendent Webb reported the follQwing doaations: �
To Fairmc�unt Sohoal from the Bangor Breakfast Kiwanis, a cash donatian for the
purehase af books to suppart Comrnunity Reading Day, having a total dollar value of �
$2tlQ.
To Downeast School from Lifetouch National School Studios, a cash donation, having a �
total dollar value af$962.
VOTED 5-U to apprave the donatians with�ratitude. �
