The Bangor School Cornmittee Regular Meeting was called to order by Chairman Guerettc at 7:01 p.m.and thc Pledge af Allsgiance followe@. D.2. a. Superintendent Web6 reviewed the reason for the revised FY14 budget and urged citizens to ' be informed and to vote at the N€�vember Sth election. E. 1. a. 1. VOTED unanimously to approve the Minutes of th� Octaber 9, 20I3 Regular Schaal ! Committee Meeting. b. Superintendent Webb recommended approval of th� Comprehensive Emergency Plan. The � Bangor School Department worked closely with the Bangor Police Department,Bangor Fire Department, and Sheriff Glan Rass to update the confidentia! Comprehensive Emergency Plan. � Committee Members expressec�appreciation for the thoroughness of the plan and the driUs that the sch4ols follow throughaut the school yesr. � VOTED b-0 ta approve the plan as presented, c. Superintendent Webb recomrnended approval of the September 2013 Financial Statement. � VOT'�D 6-4 to approve ths statement as presented. d. 1. Superintendent Webb reported the following donations: � To Vine Street Schoo(from S�. Superintendent Webb recornmended receipt of the First Reading af Revised Policy GCCIAB —Tutoring for Pay. � VOTED 6-U to receive the First Reading af Revised Policy GCC�AB. F. 1. Committee Member Stniley updated the Cornmit#ee on the Military Youth Task Force � meeting that she attended in Augusta. At the meeting, members reviewed the Maine Interstate Compact,which the State of Maine adopted in 2�09. The intention of this cornpact is to levet the playing field for military connected youth. � 2. g. 1. Chairman Guerette appointed herself as the MSBA Delegate. i I.
