Meeting Minutes
Committee Members Present: Committee Chair Schaefer, Leonard, Sprague
Additional Councilors Present: Davitt, Fournier, Yacoubagha
City Staff Present: Bolduc, Collins, Emery, Jarvis, Labree, Willette
Others in Attendance: Jesse Moriarity
Committee Chair Schaefer called the meeting to order at 5:15 P.M.
CONSENT AGENDA
1. Landlord’s Consent to Assignment
a. Action requested: approval of staff recommendation of Landlord’s
Consent to Assignment of the lease
2. Subordination Request – 19 Thomas Hill Road
a. CDBG deferred loan of $44,438.64
b. Action requested: approval of staff recommendation to approve the
subordination request.
Councilor Sprague moved approval of the consent agenda as presented,
seconded by Councilor Leonard. Vote unless doubted, no doubt.
AGENDA
1. 206 Falvey Street – Loan Request
a. Action requested: approval of staff recommendation for $6,000 loan.
Councilor Sprague moved approval of the staff recommendation, seconded by
Councilor Leonard. Vote unless doubted, no doubt.
2. 2023 Golf Course Fees
a. Action requested: approval of staff recommendation to implement the
proposed fee structure for 2023.
Councilor Sprague moved staff recommendation to
implement the proposed fee structure for 2023, seconded
by Councilor Leonard. Vote unless doubted, no doubt.
3. Hopeful Banners Downtown
a. Action requested: approval of staff recommendation to
allow the banners and pay for 50% of the cost of production.
Discussion surrounding attempt to have banners made in Bangor. Councilor Sprague
moved approval of staff recommendation to allow the banners and pay for 50% of the
cost of production, seconded by Councilor Leonard. Vote unless doubted, no doubt.
Councilor Leonard motioned to move into Executive Session at 5:30 P.M., seconded by
Councilor Sprague. Vote unless doubted, no doubt.
4. Executive Session Economic Development – Property Negotiations – 1
M.R.S.A. § 405 (6) (C)
a. Action requested in open session – approval of staff recommendation.
