Sec. 1 (2), (6), and (5) of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Banger, Maine be amended
by debating the wards of Section 1 (2) as follows:
Sec. 1 (2) "Multifamily residence building, lodging house, tourist home, boarding
house$ hotel, motel, which meets all the requirements of the ordinance
for residence buildings;"
And substituting there Mora. the following:
"Multifemily residence building, lodging house, tourist home, boarding
house, Funeral home, which meets all the requirements of the ordinance
for residence buildings; "
And by deletings
Sec. 1 (A) "Social club, funeral home, which meats all the requirements of the
ordinance for residence buildings; -
And substituting therefore, the following:
"Accessory use customarily incident is any of the above uses.
And by deleting:
Sec. 1 (5) "Accessory use customarily incident to any of the above uses.

of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Bangor, Maine be amended by the following
changes:
Deleting the following:
Sec. 1 (2) "Multifamily residence building, lodging house, tourist home, oncoming
house, hotel, motel, which meets all the requirements of the ordinance
for residence buildings;"
And substituting therefore, the following:

To Amend Residence "C" Zane
Gentlemen:
Please be advised that the Planning Board met on May 20, 1965 for further
consideration on this matter which was again referred to them From the Council.
The Board further amended C.C.O. 110-5 by the fallowing changes:
A. Sec. 1 (2)
Delete the worse, funeral home, from Section 1 (2) as amended by
C.C.D. 110-5 to read:
"Multifamily residence building, lodging house, tourist home,
boarding house,.which meats all the requiramenta of the Ordinance
For residence buildings^
B. Sec. 1 (3)
Delete the words of existing Section 1 (3) as follows:
"Office Par professional persona which meets all the requirements
of the ordinance for residence buildings"
AND substitute the following:
"Office for professional persona, funeral homes, and insurance
company office, which meats all the requirements for office use
in Section Y

After considerable discussion and after making these additional changes of
C.C.O. 110-5, the Planning Board voted to approve the amended changes in Resicence
C Zane.

CHAPTER VIII
ARTICEL 6 - RESIDENCE C ZONES
Sac. 1 RESIDENCE C ZONES. In a Residence C Zone no building, land, or premises shall
be erected, altered, or used except for one or more of the following u ca:
(1) Residence B nave as hersinbefore set out;
(2) Multifamily residence building, lodging house, tourist home, boarding house,
which meets all the requirements of the Ordinance for residence buildings;
(3) Office for professional persona, funeral home, and insurance company office,
which meets all the requirements for office u
(4) Accessory use customarily incident to any of the above uses.
Ssc.2 REQUIREMENTS FOR RESIDENTIAL USE. Building or land erected, altered, or used
for residential use In a Residence C Zone shell conform to the following requirements:
(1) Building height limit: Maximum 3 stories but not exceeding 40 feet.
(See Note 1)
(2) Lot area: No lot far a building shall contain lase than
six thousand (6,000) square feat plus fifteen
hundred (1,500) square feet for each family housed morn than one in the same
building; provided that aone-family dwelling may be erected on any lot OF
record as of December 2, 1940: and provided further that any residence build-
ing existing as
of December 2, 1940 may be altered to accommodate not more than
e family foreach fifteen hundred (1,500) square feat ofthearea of the lot.
(3) Lot coverages Maximum 40 percent
(4) Lot width: minimum 60 fact (Bee Note 2)
(5) front yard depth: There shall he in front of every building a
front yard having a minimum depth of twenty
(20) feet; provided that no front yard need be deeper then the average of the
