Load factors continue to be very strong. Total Operations were up 2% in December over December, 2020 and up 22% FYTD. Fuels sales continue to be very strong. b. CY21 Year in Review • Facebook was our primary Social Media focus in 2021 with followers nearly doubling. Followers come not only from surrounding towns and Canada, but also from New York, Atlanta and as far away as Australia. Our top Instagram posts featured operations and our beautiful scenery. Twitter will become more valuable as we continue with FBO re-branding. • Aimee distributed a BGR 2021 Marketing Recap. It showed how our messaging evolved throughout the year in response to Covid and traveler concerns. We've developed and started to implement our FBO/GA Business Development Marketing and Branding plan. Community and Business Engagement continue to be a strong focus, including a targeted campaign to area businesses that we're ready when they are ready to resume business travel. Many initiatives took place during the year to support Staff Recruitment, Retention and Engagement. c. Update on FBO rebranding and marketing plan We've taken the ABS recommendations as well as staff suggestions to enhance our operations at the FBO, including the new logo. We are sticking to our BGR roots, but moving us to the next level based on the recommendations. There is a new website with the new FBO branding. d. Big Brothers/Big Sisters event support C&L Aviation will be hosting a plane pull as a fundraiser for Big Brothers/Big Sisters in September. We'll be lending our support with Marketing and Community Engagement. 3. Airport Updates a. Terminal Study—design & engineering phase 1 update We continue to move forward with design of the post-security Connector between the DAB & IAB. The next step is costing and putting together a funding plan. We'll bring the information back to Committee.. It's unlikely we'll be able to start construction this summer. We hope to do a few things, like reconfigure the TSA checkpoint, to relieve some of last year's pressure. Meeting Adjourned
