The Board scheduled and held a second Public Hearing July 20, 1970 on the request. Me Board gave very careful consideration to the request, to those opposed to the change and to the several possibilities for multi -family housing. The Planning Board gave very careful consideration to the proposal as presented as well as objections to such change. After considerable discussion of the merits of the proposal, the need for such housing, the effect on the general a which would be most directly affected and on the volume of traffic such increased density would have, the Planning Board voted to deny the request.
