RB: Henry Street Abandonment, City Council Order No. 67-T
Gentlemen:
Please be advised that the Planning Board has reviewed the request
for abandonment of a portion of Henry Street, referredto them by Council.
The Board had tabled the request because of problems resolving the
rights of the several parties involved. At their meeting on February 1, 1971
the Board reconsidered the question and because of the traffic changes in
the area,
, there i o future need for it as a public street, and voted to
approvethe abandonment of Henry Street.
Since there appears to be need for resolving the private rights of the
parties
involved - the Planning Board felt this was more properly a question
the City Council should resolve.
