HomeMy WebLinkAbout2021-12-13 City Council Minutes MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING BANGOR CITY COUNCIL – DECEMBER 13, 2021 Meeting called to order at 7:30 PM Meeting Chaired by Council Chair Fournier Councilors Absent: None Meeting Adjourned at 9:23 PM Currently, the public has the choice to participate in meetings in person at City Hall or remotely through Zoom, Facebook, television, and the City’s website. Public comment, whether in person or through Zoom requires a person to state their name and address, any inappropriate or offensive remarks may be removed, and the Council Chair will have discretion over the time allowed for comment. On Zoom, the public may be recognized to speak by the hand wave function or, on a phone, by pressing *9. PUBLIC COMMENT John Ellis, Pastor Terry Dinkins, Scott Pardy, James Rickrode, Doug Dunbar, Monique Gautreau, Julia Normand, Larry Dansinger, Anthony Jackson, Brian Ptitman, Mike Dunley, Mike Tuller, Shannon Denbow, and Dariah Cullen spoke regarding the homeless crisis urging the City Council to manage with love and compassion, suggesting a partnership with non-profits and look at expanding on what is currently working.
