Meeting Adjourned at 8:44 PM
Currently, the public has the choice to participate in meetings in person at City Hall or remotely through Zoom, Facebook,
television, and the City's website. Public comment, whether in person or through Zoom requires a person to state their
name and address, any inappropriate or offensive remarks may be removed, and the Council Chair will have discretion
over the time allowedfor comment. On Zoom, the public may be recognized to speak by the hand wave function or, on a
phone, by pressing *9.
PUBLIC COMMENT Sean Faircloth,Scott Pardy,James Rickrode,Monique Gautreau,Doug Dunbar,
Mike Tulle, Janet Drew, and Heidi Wheaton spoke in favor of using some of the
federal money Bangor received to assist with individuals without shelter,substance
abuse and mental illness.
Joe Perry spoke regarding the proposed tobacco ordinance and suggested that the
city partner with businesses to assist with testing employees to ensure they are
properly trained in the sale of these products.
