DEFINITION
TMs is technical, administrative, and research work in the acquisition and dis-
position of project land.
An employee in this class is responsible for obtaining and reviewing appraisals,
conducting negotiations with property owners, and oigaxising, and supervising closings.
In addition, the incumbent of this class prepare$ disposition documents, supervises
negotiations, and, if need be, closings with prospective perohesera of project land.

MUSTFATM EXXVL£S OF YORK
Nbintaim an accurate up-to-date record of an property owners in the project area;
works closely with owners of project property to be acquired towards a negotiated
settlement of the property.
Obtains and reviews appraisals of property to. be acquired, assuring the authority
that the appraisals have been conducted aceurately; analyses the appraisals to determine
a recommended price on each property. negotiates
presents the final approved acquiaition price to property owners, actively
to arrive at a mutual agreement and eupervises the closings{ prepares disposition
documents to be submitted to the regional office on each disposition P reel.
Actively solicits and negotiate$ with prospective redevelopers or project land,
coordinating activities with the city departments, especially the Econwoic Development
Department. and federal les
Prepares and submits numerous reports to local,regianal, agencies
n the progress of disposition activities, always striving to enhance the public image
relative to the disposition program. which
works closely with the legal counsel as to various title problems, etc.,
