PROCLAMATION.• Proclaimed April 30,2021 as Arbor Day
PUBLIC COMMENT Brian Pitman, 93 Grant Street,spoke in favor of bathrooms at Pickering Square
and the waterfront. He also thanked Councilors David, Okafor,Schaefer and
Nichols for signing a letter in support of the nurses at Northern Light.

Judith Rosenbaum Andre,Raguer Jaeger,Dominick Rizzo and Dennis
Andre spoke against this change for safety reasons and not knowing the
impact of additional traffic in the surrounding neighborhoods.
Ed Goff, developer of the project,stated there would be right turns only. He
said there could be a multitude of allowed businesses on this site that could
have more hours of operation than the proposed car wash. He said they
operate several car washes on extremely busy streets throughout the state.
