RMLFED, WHEREAS. by passage of Resolve 197 AG on March 26, 1979, the City Council of the City of Bangor authorized the Maine State Housing Authority to solicit proposals for the development of not more than forty apartment units for low- and moderate -income persons in the area of the Third -Main Neighborhood Conservation Project known as the "former Gas Works area'; and WHEREAS, by passage of Resolve 275 AG on May 30, 1979, the City Council of the City of Bangor approved the selection by the Maine State Housing Authority of the partnership of Robert R. Kurson and Newell B'. Burson as developer of housing for low- and moderate - income persons to be located in the area of the Third -Main Conser- vation Project known as the "former Gas Works area" in accordance with Council Resolve 197 AG; and WHEREAS, Resolve 197 AG passed on March 26, 1979; contained a provision that the selected developer must submit aconceptual scheme of the proposed development; containing all of the information listed n Exhibit A attached hereto, to the City Council for its approval or rejection within the 30 day period following the developer's submission of such conceptual scheme: NOW TNEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ,BANGOR THAT, the conceptual scheme for the development of 32 units for low- and moderate -income persons, to be located in the area of the Third -Main Conservation Project known as the "former Gas Works area", submitted by Kuraon and Burson is hereby approved in accordance with Council Resolve 197 AG. -In City Council Sept.24,1979 Fa seed by erY- _ 372 Aa RESOLVE Approving Conceptus1 s 4gms for Development of Low as loderste Income Housing in the Third Maid Neighborhood Conservation project 3'i;L Exhibit A (of Resolve No. 197 AG) Me conceptual plan skull be prepared by a duly registered architect as defined by Title 32 of the Maine Revised Statutes Annotated. The following conceptual scheme submissions shall be required: a. Site Flan - Me site plan shall be draw to a scats of one (1) Inch equals twenty (20) feet wherever practical. tae plan should include: (1) Property lines and dimensions. (2) Adjacent features, such as abutting streets, buildings r properties. (3) Existing and proposal owed areas, including the type of pavement and principal dimensions. (4) The on-site parking layout, and traffic flow, if any. (5) Fleeting areas, fncludiag general sane ani variety of trees and shrubs. (6) All existing and proposed utilities, both above and below groand, including service connections and drainage facilities. (7) Principal elevatians, grades, or contours, both existing ems proposed. (8) Existing a,d new building outlines, including overlaps -' such as canopies or basement extensions. b. Fluor Plan - :The scale of the floor plan shall be left to the discretion of the architect.
