Alex Barath has passed away and Daniel Barath is the personal representative of Alex Barath's estate. The outstanding charges due the City were paid, the Code enforcement office had no issues with the property, and no loans on the property were owed to the City. Because the liens had matured and because Mr. Alex Barath has passed away, a municipal quitclaim deed to Daniel Barath, as personal representative of Alex Barath's estate, was required to release the City’s interest in the property. The City's certificates of tax lien were the only item delaying a sale of the property, preventing the long vacant property from being put to good use. City staff prepared and executed a municipal quitclaim deed releasing the City's interest in the property. This resolve would ratify the actions of the City Staff.
