Final Coat of Haskell Road Construction I—ntroduced and Filed by CITY OF BANGOR, MAIM Engineering Department December S. 1983 To the Municipal Officers Reference is made to City Council Order No. 81-166 passed May 277 1981, which authorized the construction of Haskell Road, including theinstallation of a sanitary sewer, extending east from Rogan Road to the property of John J. Davis. All work has been completed, and a pending claim for additional damages as a result of right-of-way acquisition has been dropped, so that the final coats of the project have been determined. The roadway construction consisted of a 24 -foot wide paved travel way with 8 -foot gravel shoulders extending in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 435 feet from Bogan Road, and thence in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 1,110 feet to the property of John J. Davis. Is addition, an 8 -inch sanitary sewer was installed along the new roadway for a distance of 1,071 feet, including the installation of 4 manholes. The total actual cost of the roadway construction was $82$508.00, including right-of-way acquisition and engineering and the total actual cost of the sewer construction was $15 692.00, includengineering, for a total project cost of $98,200.(10.
