Should these funds become available they would be used for foster

Emergency Foster care is cost effective because it is not capital
intensive. Quality care in a non-restrictive setting can be provided
to children in home environments without the capital cost of
buildings, etc: in addition, most children can be cared for more
effectively in an intipate family environment than in an institutional
setting. The funds requested will Day for approximately 450 bed
days of care at the current overall program rate of $8.36 per day.
