Sign an Agreement with Hoyle, Tanner and Associates - Design of Airoort

THAT the Purchasing Agent be authorized to negotiate and
sign an agreement with Hoyle, Tanner and Associates of Bedford,
New Hampshire, to provide design services for certain Airport
Improvement Program work at Bangor International Airport, over the
next three years. The work will include taxiway shoulder rehabilitation,
airport access
road realignment, perimeter fencing, taxiway intersection
widening, terminal building Improvements, commuter apron blast fence,
construction of taxiway "F" and "G", the airport master plan update,
concrete joint sealing, fuel spill containment and repair of trench
drains. A copy of said Agreement shall be on file in the Office of
the City Clerk.
Statement of Pact: Hoyle, Tanner and Associates was selected by the
City's. Selection committee to Provide design and
other technical services for the projects mentioned
above. The City will receive Airport Improvement
Program grants of approximately $3,900,000.00 from
the FAA to fund these projects.

.Add to the order:
When such agreement. is reached between the City Purchasing
Agent and Hoyle Tanner, Inc., then such agreement
will be brought to the Joint meeting of the Finance and
Airport Committees for approval before execution. It -
is also, recommended that the Purchasing agent attempt
to negotiate with Hoyle Tanner to/eRM16ot to local
firms in Bangor parts of the overall project. '
