The employee in this chase supervises a group of na ewrkers and Instructs then in agency policy, procedure, and general casework techniques. Primary responsibility is for supervision of caseworkers i establishing need and eligi- bility for public relief add the social planning necessary with all applicants. An employee in this Uses is responsible for the relocation of displaced families and businesses because of urban renewal action. Work involves conducting studies oP social and ec noetic conditions in relation to families in an urban renewal area. Work involves the exercise of independent judKment in developing methodology and interpreting data. Supervision may be examised over a fen technical assistants. Some formal education in urban renewal subjects or related fields. 433 ASSISTANT URBAN RI.NIIJAL DIRECTOR DSR4IITIM This is technical administrative and research work in preparing specific projects and exercises on matters relating to urban renewed. An employee in this class is responsible for the gathering of planning, social, economic and engineering data, and acts as technical assistant to the Executive Director of the Urban Senegal Authority. Work requires the application oP specific knowledge in developing urban renewal plane. Woric requires the exer- edse of independent judgment in developing methodology, preparing reports, conducting studies, and interpreting data. Work is reviewed upon completion of eeignments through an analysis of draft reports for accuracy, factual content, and for the soundness of interpretations and conclusions. Supervision may be exercised over a few technical assistants.
