Consent Agenda
1. Community Development Residential Rehabilitation Loan—666 Finson Road, Lot#172
2. Community Development Residential Rehabilitation Loan —82 Randolph Drive
A motion was made by Councilor Gratwick and seconded by Councilor Wheeler to pass the
Consent Agenda as presented. So voted.
Regular Agenda
3. Extension of Lease Agreement with Vicki L.Trundy—39 Florida Avenue
Vicki Trundy wishes to extend a lease of office space at 39 Florida Ave., Bangor for operation of
a counseling business. She has leased the office for four(4)years and has accepted the terms of this
proposed agreement extension with a rate increase to$162.00 per month; other terms and conditions
of the agreement remain the same.
A motion was made by Councilor Gratwick and seconded by Councilor Wheeler to approve the
extension of Lease Agreement with Vicki L. Trundy for office space at 39 Florida Ave., Bangor as
presented. So voted.
4. Review of"Request for Proposals"for 227 Pine Street
Rod McKay stated that this item was discussed at the June 23, 2010 BED Committee meeting
whereby a vote was taken to issue an RFP for the rehabilitation of the property at 227 Pine Street,
Bangor. Staff has prepared an RFP to allow proposals to be considered for the purchase and
rehabilitation of this existing single family home for its demolition and clearance of the lot or for reuse
of other allowed uses in the Urban Residential Zone which it is located in. If approved today,the RFP
would be issued on Thursday,July 22, 2010; staff would also advertise and post it on the City's web site.
Proposals would be due by August 11, 2010 to the City's Purchasing office. They would first be
considered by staff, then referred to the BED Committee for its review and recommendation to the City
Council who would make the final decision on which, if any, proposal would be accepted.
Residents from the Pine Street area in attendance did not request to speak on this issue.
A motion was made by Councilor Gratwick to move the staff recommendation to send out RFP's
for the property at 227 Pine Street, Bangor as presented. Seconded by Councilor Wheeler. So voted.
