1. Community Development.
The Committee approved a loan application for property at 221
Center Street by a 2-1 vote.
2. Finance/Transportation Committee.
The Committee set up a meeting for Wednesday, December 19th at
5:15 p.m. Members of the Transportatio`n Committee will be
-notified aswell a a list of persons concerning .with polling
locetions,as requested by the City Clerk.
3. Workers Compensation - 1985.
The Committee tgave the Finance Director authority to 'enter into
contract with O.S. Fire Insurance to excess
coverage
rage-at $5,732
per month for eighteen months, and to employee Penn General for
loss time claims only for $15,000 in 1985 and $7,500 for the first
six months of 1986.
4. B'ds•
a. Dead Lay windows. The Committee approved award of contract
to Sears Roebuck S Co., the low responsive bidder, at
$3,430.00.
5. Council Order 85-48 "Amending Community Development Property
Rehabilitation Loan Program."
The Committee approved passage of this Order which will increase
the interest rates on Community Development loans from 38 to
68. Councilor McCarthy indicated that with regard to any pending
loans,that he would encourage the Community Development Director
to bring them to be Committee for consideration. prior to December 26th.
6. Executive Session - Bob Miller.
The Committee voted to go into executive discussion for the
purposero£ discussing a small claims matter with the City
Solicitor.
