The sale recommendation is made with the prior condition that the Citywaivethe defect in the bid. 2. Consideration OfEngineering Services for outfall 'G n t Sewage Treatment Plant. or at The Committee gave their unanimous approval to continue with the firm of Klienschmidt & Dotting Consulting Engineers for this project at the Sewage Treatment Plant. This firm was selected previously for the preliminary study and have proposed contract for the remainder of the work which will have to be reviewed by the full City Council. A Council order will be prepared for the ly 23rd agenda. 3. Legal Matter. The Committee unanimously votedto go, into executive session for purposes of consulting with the City Solicitor on a legal matter. 4. Blanchard Street Extension. The Committee recommended approval of a.Council Order to be placed on the July 33rd agenda authorizing the extension of the right-of- way on Blanchard Street by 25 feet. The assessed value of $450 will be paid by Mr. Laurence Paine, who requested the extension, and $100 payment of damages by G & S Associates. 5. Sewer Relocation on Odlin Road. As part of the State's project in the Odlin Road/Maine Avenue/ Hammond Street area, the City has an existing sewer which will have to be relocated due to being in conflict with the State's project. The City Engineer indicated there were two alternatives for being reimbursed 1008 by the State for the relocation of the sewer. One is to keep very detailed cost records, subject to an audit, and the State would pay the City on an actual cost basis which would be a lengthy process. The second alternative, which the City Engineer recommended and which the Committee unanimously recommended, as for the City to enter into an agreement with the State to pay the City a lump sum based upon the City Engineer's estimate of $20,248. The lump a= payment would be received promptly from the State upon execution of the agreement. Committee adjourned at 4:55 p.m.
