SITE PLAN REVIEW
1. 777 Ohio Street –Site Development Plan
For a revision to the approved site plan for 777 Ohio Street to expand two
buildings, construct a private pump station and other site improvements in a
Low Density Residential District and Resource Protection District. Glen
Braley, applicant.
Chair Kenney observed that the applicant was not in attendance to present their project to
the Board. He asked Staff for a summary of the proposal.
Bangor City Planner David Gould reminded the Board that this site plan was approved
earlier in the year and was the first part of a phased approach planned for the site. The
original idea was to construct a temporary pump station for the site’s sanitary sewer, to be
replaced by a permanent pump station when buildout is complete. The applicant now
wishes to install the permanent pump station at the lower end of the site and forgo the
temporary pump station altogether. Mr. Gould also noted that the applicant proposed to
enlarge the buildings somewhat as well. Mr. Gould stated that Planning Staff had no
concerns.
City Engineer John Theriault noted that from an engineering perspective, this plan is
preferable to the plan that included the temporary pump station and also had no concerns
about this proposal.
Member LeBlanc asked if the plans had been revised to include all of the proposed changes
and other corrections noted by Planning Staff. Mr. Gould replied that it had been.
Member Boothby moved for approval of the Site Development Plan for 777 Ohio St, as
proposed. Member Durgin seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
