Requested that a councilor initiate an ordinance

that serve alcohol.She pointed out the fact that she
has been operating for nine years with no problems.

Tom Palmer, Partner in Best Inn Main Street&Lafayette
Hotels,noted that the Racino has had a positive impact on
the local economy,has supported the community through
financial support of the Folk Festival&Chamber of Commerce.
Mr Palmer urged council support of the license renewal.
During the Public Comment section at the beginning of the
meeting, Charlie Birkel spoke in support of Penn National
and Bangor Historic Track, recognizing the management
Staff and the classy manner in which they operate. Mr.Birkel
also requested council support.
