discussions with the Penobscot-Downeast Cable Consortium toward a
renegotiations of the existing interlocal agreement that would allow the
City to continue its membership in the Consortium at a reduced direct
cost of$24,003. Staff is authorized to continue the City's membership
should an agreement be reached,subject to the approval of the Finance
Committee.If no agreement is reached, the City shall make a contribution
of$24,003 to the Consortium to assist this organization in adjusting to
the Citv's withdrawal from it
