PUBLIC COMMENT: Barbara McDade announced that Penobscot Reads will be
Starting soon. She distributed this year’s book “Three Cups of Tea”.
Ron Smith of the Bangor/Brewer VFW thanked the Council for attending the Pearl Harbor
Celebration and presented a check to Chief Gastia for the Police Athletic League.

Rod Rogdiguez, owner of Gallery by Design, announced an event on January 14
with an opening reception at City Hall.
Carol Woodcock of Senator Collin’s office announced the passage of a pilot program
which will allow trucks with a weight limit of over 80,000 pounds to drive on federal
highways.
