MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING BANGOR CITY COUNCIL – SEPTEMBER 23, 2013
Meeting called to order at 7:30 PM

PUBLIC COMMENT Police Chief, Mark Hathaway, introduced Jason Stuart who recently
was promoted to Sergeant.
Airport Director, Anthony Caruso, informed the City Council of the
international flight diversions to BIA from Boston. He indicated that
over 500 people were served and that the staff did a remarkable job
handling the flights.
Kate Garland, horticulturist with UMaine Cooperative Extension
thanked the City Council for its support of the Bangor Community
Garden space on Essex Street.
