HomeMy WebLinkAbout2012-05-14 City Council Minutes MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING BANGOR CITY COUNCIL – MAY 14, 2012 Called to Order at 7:30 PM Chaired by Council Chair Weston Councilors Present: All Except Hawes Adjourned at 8:50 PM Recognition: Recognized the Contributions of Fritz and Caroline Oldenburg to the preservation of Open Space in Bangor, Maine Recognition: Recognized the Contributions of Dennis and Jane Shubert to the Preservation of Open Space in Bangor, Maine PUBLIC COMMENT: Sydney McDonald, Maine History Day competition winner, reviewed with the Council what the competition was about, what her project entailed and that she would be competing in the National History Days final in Washington, DC. Joe Bennett indicated that he would donate $100 towards Ms. McDonald’s trip and challenged others to also contribute. CONSENT AGENDA ASSIGNED TO ITEM NO.
