Weatherbee & Sons, Inc. To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval to paint the overhangs, trim and doors. Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval granted / denied by a vote of 5 to 0. Item No. 2 158 Main Street – W.C. Weatherbee & Sons, Inc. To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval to paint the area over the tavern on front, paint area over parking area and windows on rear portion. Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval granted / denied by a vote of 5 to 0. Item No. 3 21 Main Street – Nyle Corporation. To consider a request for Design Review approval to replace old heat pumps with new cold climate heat pumps on roof. Action Taken: Design Review approval granted / denied by a vote of 5 to 0. Item No. 4 35 Central Street – Carousel Industries, Inc. To consider a request for Design Review approval to install second floor window signs. Action Taken: Design Review approval granted / denied by a vote of 5 to 0. -1- Item No. 5 208 French Street – Joseph and Liliane Philippon. To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness for exterior preparation and painting of the building. The house base color will be off-white (sand), the trim will be white. Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness granted / denied by a vote of 5 to 0. Item No. 6 300 Union Street – Bangor Theological Seminary To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness to restore the chapel tower and paint white. Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness granted / denied by a vote of 5 to 0. The next scheduled meeting is Thursday, July 11, 2002, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. -2-
