PUBLIC HEARINGS
1. 186 Exchange Street – Superior Homes Corp.
To consider a request for a Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval to
cut a 4” hole in the exterior and install a galvanized air intake vent which is required by
code; and to install two Lennox HS29 condensing units for the air conditioning system to
be placed on the roof of the building.
Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval granted /
denied by a vote of 4 to 0 with the condition that the vent be painted to match the
building exterior.
2. 20 Broad Street – The Charles Inn
To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval to
remove an existing awning and replace with a sign and to install a sign on the front
facade of the building.
Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval granted /
denied by a vote of 4 to 0.
3. 41 Thomas Hill Road – Wireless Fidelity of North America
To consider a request for a Certificate of Appropriateness approval to attach three 24 inch
by 6 inch panel antennas to the existing flagpole at Thomas Hill Standpipe.
Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness approval granted / denied by a vote of 4 to
0. The approval is for the installation of 3 antenna inside a 26 inch diameter by 40 inch
tall raydome above the existing T-mobile raydome.
4. 39 West Broadway – Gary Crowell
To consider a request for a Certificate of Appropriateness to restore the exterior of the
building.
Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness approval granted / denied by a vote of 4 to
0. The approval also allows for the removal of a chimney.
5. 6 Central Street – Nickerson and O’Day
To consider a request for Design Review approval for entrance and window replacements
and two install two signs.
Action Taken: Design Review approval granted / denied by a vote of 4 to 0

Council Chambers.
