Action Taken: Design Review approval granted by a vote of 5 to 0. 2. 73 Harlow Street – City of Bangor To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness approval to replace three permanent window installed AC units with single AC compressor unit located on the rear of the attached brick loading dock. Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness approval granted by a vote of 5 to 0 with the condition that the windows, where the window AC units were, be restored to original condition. 3. 128 Main Street – Tracy M. Darcy To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval to install a wall sign. Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval granted by a vote of 5 to 0. 4. 57 Penboscot Street – Miki Macdonald To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness to replace a rear door with a larger door, add two windows, replace the existing side window and replace metal porch roof with rubber roof. Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness approval granted by a vote of 5 to 0. 5. 28 Somerset Street / 112 Broadway – John Bapst Memorial High School / Seven Islands Land Co. To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness approval for a proposed parking lot expansion, associated utilities, sidewalks, signage and other associated items. Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness approval granted by a vote of 5 to 0 for the proposed parking lot with the condition that the applicant brings back the proposal for revised buffer plantings and lighting treatment to be approved by the HPC at a later date. 6. 635 State Street – WBRC Architects-Engineers To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness to install vinyl windows. Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval granted by a vote of 5 to 0. The next scheduled meeting is Thursday, September 8, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. in the third floor Council Chambers.
