PUBLIC HEARINGS
1. 84 Hammond Street – Daniel M. Leaden MFC
To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness approval to install a projecting
sign.
Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness approval granted by a vote of 5 to 0.
2. 10 Broad Street – Daniel M. Leaden MFC.
To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval to
add lettering to an existing awning.
Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval granted by a
vote of 5 to 0.
3. 64 Main Street – House Revivers
To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval to
install a commercial kitchen ventilation fan on the roof at the rear of the building.
Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval granted by a
vote of 5 to 0.
4. 132-134 Park Street – RSQ, LLC Patricia L. Quirk
To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness approval to replace existing vinyl
windows, replace porch entrance and front doors.
Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness granted by a vote of 4 to 1.
5. 294 Union Street – DaVinci Signs LLC
To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness approval to install signs.
Action Taken: Application revised to install two wall signs, two directional signs (one
on Pond Street and on Union Street) and one freestanding sign. Certificate of
Appropriateness granted by a vote of 5 to 0.
6. 294 Union Street – Bangor Masonic Foundation
To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness approval for site improvements.
Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness granted by a vote of 5 to 0 for the
installation of a fenced in dumpster on a concrete pad and monument and landscape
removal.
The next scheduled meeting is September 10, 2009 at 7:00 p.m, City Council chambers.
