ELECTION
A vote was taken to reappoint Bob Kelly as historical consultant.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
1. 1 West Market Square – Mexicali Blues
To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval to
change the awning color from green to blue and change the green exterior of the first
floor painted band from green to blue.
Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval granted by a
vote of 5 to 0.
2. 186 Exchange Street – SNR Builders – Triathlete Sports
To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval to
remove a sliding door and replace with an overhead door.
Action Taken: After discussion Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review
approval granted by a vote of 5 to 0, with the condition that faux hinges be removed
from the proposed overhead doors, as they were found to not be consistent with
architecture of the building and that arched “Stockton” windows be used in the overhead
door. .
3. 36 Central Street – The Rock and Art Shop
To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval to
sand, scrape and repaint the exterior and to install a wall and projecting sign.
Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval granted by a
vote of 5 to 0, with the condition that the proposal be completed as submitted and
proposed.
4. 11-15 Central Street – CocoLoco
To consider a request for Design Review approval to change the peeling exterior trim
around the entrance from green to the original black.
Action Taken: Design Review approval granted by a vote of 5 to 0.
Discussion Item
The Commission reviewed a packet of material submitted on behalf of the new owners of
29 Pond Street. No one was in attendance for the owner, so the Commission did not
really review the packet. It was noted that House Revivers has been retained to rebuild
and maintain the existing wood windows. The Commission was ok with the
maintenance commencing on the windows. Staff will reach out to the new owners agent
about getting on the May meeting as a discussion item.

Chambers.
