Amending Chapter 165, Land Development Code, by Changing the Zone of a parcel of land off Grandview
Avenue from Parks and Open Space District to Multifamily and Service District and another parcel of land from
Shopping and Personal Service District to Multifamily and Service District.
Summary
This order will amend the land development code by changing the zoning on two parcels of land fronting on
Grandview and School Streets. If approved, approximately .37 acres, formerly owned by the City, will be
rezoned from Parks and Open Space District (P&O) to Multifamily and Service District, and approximately 2.33
acres will be rezoned from Shopping and Personal Service District to Multifamily and Service District. The
applicant has an interest in developing multifamily housing on this site.

ORDINANCE, Amending Chapter 165, Land Development Code, by Changing the Zone of portions of two
parcels of land off of Grandview Avenue and School Street from Parks and Open space (P&O) and Shopping
and Personal Service District (S&PS) to Multifamily and Service District (MF&SD).
WHEREAS, the zoning boundary lines as established by the Zoning Map of the City of Bangor dated
October 28, 1991, as amended, be hereby further amended as follows:
By changing portions of two parcels of land located off of Grandview Avenue and School Streets (Tax Map No.
R41 Parcel 038) from Parks and Open Space to Multifamily and Service District; said portion of parcel
containing approximately.37 acres (16,117.2 square feet) and Tax Map No. R41 Parcel 31A) from Shopping
and Personal Service District to Multifamily and Service District ; said portion of parcel containing 2.33 acres
and being more particularly indicated on the map attached hereto and made a part hereof.
